 Weiland Sliding Doors and Windows, Inc. introduces the first, AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-05 rated 16’ tall liftslide doors. Weiland, specializing in custom liftslide and folding door systems and windows, recently tested a pocketing, 16’ tall five-panel door which met AAMA performance requirements. The result was especially impressive as the ratings were achieved using Weiland’s standard flush track (only 3/16” above the finished floor) reflecting the depth of our engineered design. top |

Residential Design and Build awarded the Weiland Beefy Bifold as one of the top 100 products for 2007. The Beefy Bifold is a more robust door with a profile matching our lift slide door sash. This folding door has been used in very large openings, up to 12 feet tall. The panels can reach a maximum of 52 inches in width. The panels are center hung and pivot to open, folding half in and half out of the opening. A man door is available at the jamb. These aluminum doors are available with and without an interior wood cladding and are now built in an all wood design. top |
